About the project
DThe family business is a natural, organic certified farm with a focus on fruit growing and vegetable production. Since 1988 Marienhof Esperde has been working according to the strict guidelines of the Bioland organization.
The products are sold in the farm store and at the weekly market. In addition, Marienhof supplies restaurants, schools with the school fruit program, Edeka, Rewe and organic stores in the region.
For several years there has also been a box shipment to final customers, and since 2019 an online store.
Goals
- Development of a clear and modern homepage for the Marienhof.
- Creation of an individual customer language for the Marienhof that can be used in all media and formats.
- Consistent use of customer language across all channels.
- Target new customers of the organic box more specifically and “take them by the hand” (how does everything work, what is important, ordering process, deadlines, etc.) and direct them to the online store.
The target groups
The target groups are families, singles, but also many older customers as well as restaurant and store owners. As this target group is very broadly defined and the BioBox customers had priority, various problems and wishes were analyzed by means of a survey (questionnaire) of customers and employees of the farm. Additionally as a ideal customer profile defined.

Solutions
The new modern and responsive internet prescense (Marienhof Esperde) is oriented in color towards the (revised) Marienhof logo. The little ladybug received a visual update and can still be found in all media in a graphically adapted form. Fresh green and warm orange-red spread a good mood and are supported by the great photos by Thomas Ulbrich and the SEO texts by @aufdenpunkt.
The website is divided into 4 main sections:
1. The “Home” -page shows the scope of their services and there are links to the main areas of the website.
2. The “About us” -page contains information about the company history and staff, a video and pictures.
3. The “Service ” -Page shows the contacts based on what they offer and how to contact them.
4. The “Subscription box” page is designed as a landing page. The main products are presented here and linked accordingly. Frequently asked questions about the ordering process, delivery times and order deadlines are answered here. Call to action and a link to the store are provided.
